Okay, this may sound weird, but weird is pretty much my normal.  I simply have a hard time writing without one of my 3 black cats sleeping on my desk.  I know, right?  Strange. Yet, somehow, the presence of a cat close to me makes me relax and lets the words just flow.  Who knew?
