I’m going to check out a haunted restaurant tonight. I don’t get to investigate many restaurants, and I’m excited to have this opportunity. There are reports of a flirty spirit playfully pulling on the waitress’ hair and blowing in their ears! How cute is that?! Obviously this ghost isn’t harming anyone and the employees aren’t scared, they simply want more information. I love these kind of cases!
The attitudes of these employees is refreshing in many ways. Most of the time I get clients who are terrified of the paranormal activity going on in their homes or place of business, so to have clients who are not afraid, but want to know who the ghost is, and if it can be helped is fantastic!
Most ghosts just want attention or to be acknowledged in some way and generally mean no harm, even though their activity can scare people. Once you acknowledge the ghost or spirit in a place, it generally will be satisfied for awhile. This isn’t true of all ghosts, but it’s been my experience that many ghosts just have the need for someone to know they are there.
You can even set ground rules for ghosts, much like you would a child. You can ask them to please not turn the lights on and off, wake you or your family up from a sound sleep, or scare your pets or children. Generally most ghosts will cooperate with simple rules, and you can cohabitate peacefully with your ghostly houseguest.
Hello, Debi. What did you find out at the haunted restaurant? I tried to sign up for your newsletter, but it didn’t work. Thank you, Valerie
